One of our flagship projects is the R1029 The Island Development Project, a landmark waterfront development in Dubai. The project features a cluster of supertall towers integrating a five-star luxury hotel, premium seafront residences, and a vibrant waterfront retail destination. Positioned as Dubai’s next-generation coastal landmark, it is designed to meet the growing demand for high-end living, international tourism, and premium commercial experiences.
The project presented exceptional engineering challenges due to its highly complex structural design and unprecedented scale, setting new benchmarks in the Gulf region. Its transfer structure includes beams up to 5.5 meters deep, 2.5 meters wide, and 60 meters long, while the maximum slab load reaches approximately 9,400 tonnes.





To meet the project’s demanding construction requirements and optimize the utilization of locally available building materials in the UAE, CDHORIZON supplied more than 3,000 tonnes of φ48 Ringlock Scaffolding System. Working closely with the client, our engineering team optimized the scaffolding layout by increasing the maximum bay spacing to 1,800 × 1,800 mm, significantly reducing material consumption while improving construction efficiency. Our tailored technical solution provided strong support for the project’s safe, efficient, and orderly execution.
